Sacrifice of a Goat (Sadaqa/Kaffara/Aqiqa)

We provide a sacrifice service in Tanzania at a cost of £40 with the meat distributed to and/or cooked for poor students and families of all faith backgrounds.

Compensation for Fasting (Fidya & Kaffara)

For the compensation of missed fasts due to pro-longed illness or incapacity (fidya) or negligence (kaffara), we arrange to provide food and cooked meals for the poor regardless of faith or religious persuasion.

Kaffara (Missed Fasts) – £50
Fidya (Per Fast) – £2

Friday Worship (Khatm al-Qur’an) & Community Meal

Every Friday evening, we organise recitations of the Holy Qur’an and make special supplications (dua) in Tanzania for the blessings of the sick, infirm and deceased, alongside a community meal for up to 150 people. The community meal is served to the poor, regardless of religious affiliation.

The cost of sponsoring a weekly session is £125.

You may however, submit prayer requests at no cost. We kindly request that these are received by Thursday 9pm (EAT).
