Hasnain Foundation holds formal permission (ijaza) from Ayatullah Sayyid Ali Sistani for the collection and distribution of khumus funds on behalf of, and for the benefit of, Muslims who adhere to Twelver Imami tradition.

As agreed with the Office of Ayatullah Sayyid Ali Sistani, we utilise the sahm imam portion of khumus to assist in delivering services for individuals and communities across 3 broad categories:
1) Education
2) Healthcare
3) Economic Empowerment
We also publish a specific, annual monitoring report for the distribution of khumus funds, which is a condition of our ijaza.
