Organisations
We make grants to organisations in the UK and East Africa that:
1) encourage education and life-long learning, in particular non-academic, vocational and and informal learning
2) deliver healthcare services and medical assistance
3) create opportunities for the economic empowerment of individuals and families
4) assist the elderly, infirm and disabled
5) promote environmental issues, conservation and heritage
6) respond to emergencies or crises
7) advance the Muslim faith and support Muslim communities
Individuals
We make grants to individuals who are:
1) in a condition of urgent financial hardship
2) seeking short or long-term relief from illness, infirmity or disability
3) looking to enrol in an educational course, in particular vocational training
